William Sullivan, MD received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) from Northwestern University / Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Vanderbilt University and Service Chief of PM&R at Nashville VA/Tennessee Valley Health Care System. He has served as PM&R Fellowship director and Musculoskeletal Block Director for the University of Colorado School of Medicine and was previously at University of Colorado Hospital Spine Center and Denver/Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. William’s first involvement with NASS was giving a presentation at the Annual Meeting in 1998. He has served as Coding Committee Co-Chair and NASS Advisor to the AMA/RUC committee as well as member of the Nominating Committee and Membership Committee. He was also Co-Chair of the Medical program for the Emerging Technology Spine Education Summit for 10 years.
