Dr. Joseph Lam is a neurosurgeon in private practice. He is also the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He provides minimal invasive spine surgery and non-surgical treatment of spinal conditions including spinal tumor, trauma, degenerative scoliosis, cervical radiculopathy, cervical myelopathy, prolapsed lumbar disc, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis and scoliosis, facet joint pain, discogenic back pain.
The surgical treatments provided include Minimal invasive lumbar discectomy using Percutaneous Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy (PELD), percutaneous endoscopic foraminotomy or microendoscopic lumbar discectomy MED. Dynamic lumbar stabilization devices: DSS, Coflex; Minimal invasive spinal fixation and fusion include: minimal invasive transforaminal lumbar intervertebral fusion (mTLIF), Minimal invasive anterolateral lumbar intervertebral fusion (OLIF, LLIF), Cervical discectomy and fusion, cervical artificial disc replacement (CADR), cervical arthroplasty, removal of spine tumours, Minimal invasive treatment of osteoporotic fracture (Kyphoplasty, vertebral stent insertion and vertebroplasty).Spinal fixation for scoliosis and subtraction osteotomy for focal kyphotic deformity.
