Bio

Dr. Dohring graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and Yale Medical School. He is the founder of the Spine Institute of Arizona, where surgical and non-surgical colleagues use a team approach to evaluate and treat patients most effectively, and where for the past several years every physician has been named a “Top Doc” by Phoenix Magazine. Dr. Dohring cares for the complete spectrum of spinal disorders, but throughout his career he has been passionate about minimally invasive approaches to surgical spinal disorders. Dr. Dohring is also passionate about teaching, research, and medical/legal work. He is the Director of the Spine Institute’s Spine Surgery Fellowship Program, and has traveled internationally to train other spine surgeons in minimally invasive surgical techniques which he has helped research and develop. He has also traveled internationally to volunteer his surgical skills in many third world countries.
